Why what happens later couple of days?, If information technology's scratches then maybe I'm wrong in calling information technology hydrogel, but i have Galaxy S8 and K20 pro both have this screen protector I've put link of installed in them, the S8 is over 8 months sometime and there isn't any noticeable scratch, the picture is pretty thick and flexible. There is no comparison between tempered drinking glass and hydrogel. I have hydrogel installed on the back and tempered drinking glass on the front end. Hydrogel can salvage you lot from small-scale scratches but it is soft and you lot simply can't use this in the front end afterwards a couple of days.

Hi guys, today I've practical a hydrogel screen protector fabricated by atfolix (https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://world wide web.ebay.it/ulk/itm/233264226443)If we put aside the bubbling which are left behind when applying since they seem to disappear afterwards 2-3 days, are they equally adept as a tempered glass protectors similar let's assume from Nillkin when it comes to drops?
To be honest, i using hydrogel since redmi note 3, honor8x, pocophone, then this k20 too.
Based on what i researched online, those cheap tempered glass out at that place is NO WHERE near the hardness of our gorilla glass. Most of the time ppl drop their telephone and the tempered glass shattered they e'er think that "Oh, my tempered glass saved me" but the truth it the tempered glass already is way easier to shattere compare to our original screen.
Then u might ask, if this the instance, why am i still using hydrogel or tempered drinking glass? Well, i want to prevent scratches but not preclude shatter. If dropped, the screen going to shattered, nothing can exist prevented ?

And yeah, its very flexible, got one time i put my phone inside a pencil example, and the ink of a pen stained on it. When changing new, i try to pare, scratch and poke the hydrogel (after taken off my phone) to be honest, its take me alot of force to poke through it.

For the back function, Hydrogel is ok. This is soft and gluey, that'southward why not suitable for the front. Moreover, it can't protect your screen if you drop your phone. I would instead advise using nilkin or other loftier-quality tempered glass in the front end.

I've but put Nillkin two.5D drinking glass on top of hydrogel 1 and the Ringke case accepted it[emoji16]For the back part, Hydrogel is ok. This is soft and sticky, that'southward why not suitable for the front end. Moreover, it tin't protect your screen if you drop your phone. I would instead propose using nilkin or other high-quality tempered drinking glass in the front end.

Doesn't await that way, though in theory because it's softer, it should absorb some impact and reduce the likelihood of impairment but I'thousand not going to exam thatThe answers regarding drop protection aren't disarming however.

then the surface causing the harm (concrete, ceramic) volition come into direct contact with the display drinking glass shattering it likewise. Plasticc screen protectors are about as bad but the all-time screen protectors are those wet Application gel type screen protectors yous can go at best purchase past either their home brand or Zagg. My blood brother works at that place and some guy took an iPhone and smashed it with the in house screen protector on like 30 times as hard equally he can on the corner of a metal table. The phone started to bend before it even had any damage done to the screen. It did crack the screen somewhen as well, he was smashing it with full freaking force. However a glass screen protector would non have protected against that any.
And I'm an avid drinking glass screen protector user. Non because of the protection, but considering of the feel. Glass volition always experience superior to film/gel screen protectors and still does protect a bit when it comes to scratches. Since I rarely drop my phone I don't need the indestructible gel screen protectors

Ah ok. I have Nillkin glass on top of gel so I'1000 good lolHoly crap there's a lot of misinformation hither... Glass screen protectors vs others offering the To the lowest degree bear on resistance of all screen protectors, this is due to the glass being easily shattered and displaced under a fallso the surface causing the damage (concrete, ceramic) will come into direct contact with the display glass shattering it too. Plasticc screen protectors are nearly as bad but the best screen protectors are those wet Application gel type screen protectors you tin can get at best purchase by either their domicile make or Zagg. I'grand now on a hydrogel protector because I assumed the screen simply has a very slight countour that'southward hard to notice and I don't think the glass protectors accept been designed with this in mind.
I'yard not terribly impressed with the hydrogel tbh but it's an improvement on the glass protectors. It has a rainbow effect on bright pixels - like the screen is obviously covered in something. They are a nightmare to fit perfectly. My first punt has some bubbles despite my skill at aligning screen protectors. Y'all actually have to guide the protector on very advisedly with a menu instead of letting it adhere in place by itself - so the height one-half of my screen is a bit bubbly. They also seem to take perfect horizontal lines from production.
Imo, hydrogel > glass protectors. Unless you lot've managed to notice a drinking glass protector that perfectly fits the virtually invisible taper of the drinking glass on this telephone.
Never had this much of a headache with screen protectors and it actually made me depressed. Information technology'south funny, sometimes the little things in life actually get under your pare.

My experience with screen protectors for this telephone has been pretty awful. First glass one I tried didn't adhere around the surround of the brandish; I tried the second in the pack to the aforementioned consequence and assumed they were lacking. A 2d lot arrived from a unlike vendor; same upshot however these ones came with an oil to eject nether the edges in order to fix the white edge or halo effect. Hard pass; the screen protectors ran so shut to the earpiece grill that information technology was a bad idea. Plus the non-descript oil was simply not what I wanted to put on a make new oleophobic coated screen (on that note; I've already pulled three screen protectors off it at this betoken).I'one thousand at present on a hydrogel protector because I assumed the screen just has a very slight countour that's hard to notice and I don't think the drinking glass protectors accept been designed with this in mind.
